Default New Digital 24hrs clock/date widget - FevvClock v1.00

After testing so many times, so many trials and fails and after so many help and advices given from Yahya.Hamid I finally got it all sorted out and working.

Cudos to Yahya.Hamid for all the help he gave me!

This clock widget is based on DigitalClock3 widget, but it sustained some major overhaul in code and graphic terms. Unfortunatly, I can offer only 24hrs version(s) and not 12 am/pm ones. I apologize for that, but as I stated many times before - I'm no coding wizard and I merely learned what I had to, so I can have this on my widget home screen. But liamstears modded and overhauled it for USA and others that need 12hrs AM/PM. If you need that version, you'll find it on the second page of this thread which is linked at the end of this post.

Graphic is made by me and major code changes were applied so this could be double clickable clock widget: taping on clock opens clock application and tapping on date fields opens calendar. Original code is vastly shrink and all unnecessary code functions were either deleted or optimized. This widget is using your phone system font and not images so it can/will blend with your overal look of shortcut and other text insignia on your phone. This is no international clock version, and at current state it displays in English language only. German modded version is done by S60mike and is on this very page and is linked at the end of this post.

There are two versions of this widget:
One with blinking dots showing clock is working and timing 2 seconds per blink - blink on=1 second, blink off=1 second.
One without blinking but steady dots, which is somewhat lighter version of the same thing.

On request, I can do special language version.

On request I can also modify clock numbers/text colors so it can fit your particular needs.

Some of you will be pleased with it as it is, some won't. If you think there's something wrong with widget graphic and code wise, then do let me know. I'll try my best to poke Yahya even more and get it fixed if it's fixable.

Before installing and trying it out I have few words of caution and advice.
Testing this widget, version with blinking dots, with various subversions and modifications had cost me major failure of my widget home screen. I lost my second and third widget screens as they are not functional anymore. This glitched state is already described here: Help regarding Movement of widgets!! by user nitesh_thedevil.

If you do experience this with blinking dots version: Widget starts to blink, disappears or you get white screen but with operator, network and battery status header and all 4 shotcuts footer, just don't panic right away and do not switch off your phone. Go to menu settings, personal, themes, Home screen theme and switch it from Samsung Widget to Finger Use and then back. It should work without any glitch anymore. I tested this extensively on Italian XII1 FirmWare for several days now, and it's not glitching at all.
If you still can't recuperate your functional Home widget screen, then only thing left to do is soft reset or hard reset or FirmWare update or FirmWare re-flashing in worst case.

So, be warned it can (but not necessarily, and most probably won't) break your Widget Home Screen(s) functionality. As for non blinking dots version - it never gave me any problems whatsoever.
I can not be held responsible if somehow this widget creates you problems after such warnings and explanations.

For Blinking Dots version pick FevvClock_b.wgt.zip version attachment.
For steady non blinking dots pick FevvClock_nb.wgt.zip attachment.

What should you do once you download your preferred version:
Rename the file cancelling ZIP extension and leaving everything else.
Transfer the wgt file from your PC to your phone usual ways - PC studio, USb mass Memory, raw BT transfer or WiFi transfer. Make sure you remember where you put it.
Disconnecting phone from PC, browse with default File Manager application to location (folder) where you put widget installation. Tap on it once so it installs. Once installed, go back to your home screen and pull it from the widget bar placing it anywhere you like on your home screen.

How it would look (left image) and how it looks on my phone done for my particular OS font (on the right):

Your thoughts and feedback are appreciated.

Edit: I will be posting Italian version in a day or two where due.

Thanks mate, and kudos to Yahya Hamid for his ongoing work!
Checking it out now...

+EDIT+
Works fine, a little slow to appear on my phone (not unusual tho' on all my 3rd-party widgets).
The calendar function opens quickly enough, sometimes the clock function not at all.
Overall a great widget, thanks!

Could be somewhat slow on phone start, that's something to do with java code for blinking and/or clicking/tapping. I double checked click zones are defined well in correct way and dimensions. Problem arise 'cause I haven't used images for numbers and text, so text/number itself becomes clickable zone and not defined TD field as the rest of it is transparent. Sometimes it happens so our beautiful capacitive screen detect your finger touching just a little bit off that clickable zone and that's why occasionally clicking could produce no action.

Workaround for this is fast, yet not strong, tapping on number/text. Seems screen detect fast tap (click) better then slow ones. I haven't yet noticed it not opening clock or calendar this way.
