Animated Gif for Startup/Shutdown

Sooo...I got the gifs (rename to mbm...really, that simple?), now what?

There is no /MODS/ folder anywhere in my file system.

I am using HX1.7K4 with the all singing, all dancing filebrowser.

make a new folder e:\mods\startup_shutdown\ <put your fles in there

then rename your startup to startup.mbm and shutdown to shutdown.mbm

sorry i'm new to all this how do i get these startups on my i8910

Thanks for that. It really IS that simple!

However, after applying my nice new anims, I was disappointed to see that there are still Samsung splashes interrupting what I hoped would be a nicely themed transition. Any way of getting rid of them?

shud i rename the new files stored in the startup_shutdown folder to mbm.........or the og files prersent in my phone

i made e:/mods/startup_shutdown/startup.mbm
e:/mods/startup_shutdown/shutdown.mbm

i'm still getting the sAMSUNG splash screen
