Taking photos in the proper sunshine can truly be a pot luck job though. I've just been away and was very glad I still had my proper camera. Though I must say, I just love the panorama function.

I guess all LCD display phones are pretty carp with sunny conditions...my last SE K810i was really hard to make out in sunny conditions for sure....however, as much as I love the i8910 - it's gotta be the worst I've ever had for making out what's on screen in bright daylight conditions...(doesn't even have to be mega-sunny....)

Given that - it's advantages, still greatly outweigh it's DIS-advantages, and I'd still recomend this phone wholeheartedly....unless you work in an outdoor occupation in say, california or somewhere similar.... ;D

Well, iīm spanish, so luckily we use to have Sunlight, and this disadvantages itīs a big problem. I have to hide my screen at street just trying to call, and to send a message could be a Impossible Mission...

Anyway, iīm very happy with it! īcause this is a quiet common problem in the big screen touch phones, as I had tested.

I agree that in direct sunlight it is a struggle to read the screen. But I have experienced this with every phone I have owned.

Personally the i8910 is easier to read than most other phones though.

It seems as though that'd be a convenient way to waste battery.
