Default i8910 HD vs Galaxy S

Hi everybody

I curently own both - SGS and i8910. I decided to comment a bit on both pros and cons.. I have to say although SGS is better and newer there are still things I really like about i8910.

What I found good about i8910:
+ superb camera
+ led flash
+ camera button
+ a bit louder loudspeaker
and main disadvanteges:
- many symbian apps don't work
- if one wants to make it useful, needs SPB shell and cooked roms
- sound problems ( Call Volume Spike Problems )

Greatest advantages of SGS:
+ speed
+ Android with lots of applications (android market)
+ Skype works
+ lighter
+ better screen
+ very practical UI (no mods needed)
+ better sound and no volume spike problems
+ better video recording
and disadvantage:
- camera could have been better

The sgs will be truly awesome if cyanogenmod paid it a little attention.

Talking hehe this is somewhat not ohd vs galaxy s:D

pros & cons n8,blade,sgs,ohd

Ohd
+ Amoled
+ camera+led
+ build quality
+ better multitasking
+ 2 stereo speakers
- screen resolution
- apps
- Browser performance
- single touch

Sgs,
+ screen size& screen resolution
+ S-Amoled
+ apps & games
+ unbrickable ( bricked mine five times)
- laggy without modded kernel ( currently using voodoo myself)
- no flash for camera ftl
- battery time
- build qualty

Nokia N8
+ Camera+ Flash
+ Build quality
+ Amoled+multi-touch
+ updates almost monthly
+ Battery time (really sick against ohd&sgs)
- resolution & screen size
- battery switching is a pain in the ass
- the UI ,but updates are coming next year , still better than s^1
- thick phone

Zte Blade
+ Amoled (S-lcd in some cases)
+ Screen Resolution
+ Apps and games (not all highend games)
+ Android for less money (cheapest altenative for a new handset)
+ awesome hardware for less than 170 euros note uk(99 euros)
+ its rooted from stock & android original ui is the best
- build quality (dont expect that much for that price)
- camera worst ever?!
- what the hell is zte for brand
- still eclair but modaco is a life saver thank you
The phone thats worth the money!

Sgs is better phone than oHD. It has to be! after all it was released an year after oHD. But still there are some areas where oHD rocks!
-Dedicated camera key
-Flash
-Design (though Sgs is bigger it has bad thickness to size ratio. And the steel plate on oHD gives it killer looks )

Though Sgs is better, it is because the improved technology at the time of it's release. It will never be what oHD was at it's release time!

Compared the omnia with opera mobile and hx11 on max power setting to a sgs... different providers but same level of reception (3G, not capped)

OHD was WAY faster loading websites :-D Not bad for a phone over a year older and kudos to Andy & Opera!
