Default Samsung omnia i8910 gold edition

I'm planning to buy the i8910 gold edition but some issues worries me. The gold in laid in it,is it durable? Does the gold gets off easily? Is it just like the original where the silver buttons fade away because of heavy use? I would like to hear from you. Thanks for your comments. ^_^

hmm i've been using the i8910 for over an year now, and there's no fading on my silver buttons.

my only question is: why buy a symbian^1 phone now when symbian^3 is launching in 3 days time?

Symbian ^3,you mean n8?
Hmm,n8 is good and all but new OS means fewer applications. Plus the battery issue still bugs me and the single loudspeaker. Well that's my opinion though. Maybe its just me. Hehe. ^_^
Maybe I'll check its specs again. We have different satisfaction depends on everyday life you know.
