Question rmvb - Unable to play media clip!

My phone played rmvb fine in real player now it doesnt since I changed the firmware from chinese firmware, Only changed due to webpages always going to the default lanuage and it was a pain chaning it eveytime, So I put the orange firmware for the uk on it with me having an orange sim but it didndt play RMVB anymore, so I then tried HX 2.02 this also had the same problem and I couldnt access voice mails either so decided to go with mwarner custom rom seems ok and stable but I still cant get real player to play any of my RMVB with out getting the error Unable to play media clip, Whats going on?

Any advice on how I can get these to work again? It cant be the firmware can it even though that was the only diffrence!

Any help is welcome than, thank you for any help given.

right out of the box? answer is: no

i heard there may be 3rd party apps though...

OP may have made a mistake in the fw he used... i heard the china firmware doesn't as well... but he hasn't replied... maybe gotta start a new thread asking which fw does.. then hope someone answers before mod comes in locks the thread and tells ya off for starting a thread in wrong section or its been asked before... haha just joking.. been reading a lot of posts and i seem to come across that scenario quite often here...
