Just tried to restore everything I had backed up using PC studio prior to flashing.
Get a fatal error on model specific settings, will this cause me problems or is this normal?

I had to use Symbian ROM Flashing Tool V1.50 from Polish version firmware but it also worked with the Russian firmware which had Symbian ROM Flashing Tool v1.52 - which didnt work. Both Firmwares worked well.
Rapidshare is great and worth the Ģ5 ... Good work Briggsy

I was wondering about this....did your phone come with the Orange firmware in Pavel's post? I'm sure mine wasn't that new - I seem to remember it being IE4.

No it was the older Orange firmware not the one in Pavels post that mine came with. Not sure if that update is on the phones in the shops now or not!

Where did you get the older firmware - just in case I need to re-flash mine too....? At the moment, everything's fine and dandy with it (just gone on to the Rusky IF4 FW!)

thx vm
