Recovering Deleted Files!!

I installed hyperx's new firmware and it deleted EVERYTHING off my phone.. which was alot of really important files!

Is there ANY way to recover this PLEASE!

• Download Recuva
• Connect phone in mass storage mode
• Run Recuva, goto options > actions > check 'Deep Scan', 'Scan for non-deleted files' and 'Restore folder structure'
• Scan

Recuva is a very good data recovery app but it takes time to scan, but it will pick up each and every file off the disk.
You will be able to recover files only if they were'nt over written.

It is very essential that you do not use your PC/phone/etc after loss of data for anything other than recovery of files, because if you do use it for other purposes you run the risk of overwriting your deleted files.

it didn't work.. sigh.. i guess my files are lost forever ..

I think I might have another program for you to try so please wait while I find it.
eg dont use phone at the moment

Just a thought have you an old pc suite backup that might have the files you want

What exactly went wrong?.. Did it not find the files?

It didnt find the files.. stupidly i used my i8910 as a external hard disk drive essentially.. so i've lost some very important ****..

I always update to hyperx's roms but for something so serious as
"THIS VERSION WILL WIPE YOUR MEMORY"

he sure didnt making it very obvious >=(...

Hyperx's roms are great and i can't get angry at him.. but i am extremly angry.

There are many data recovery software's out there with different options and some work better than others, like easy recovery use raw/format recovery, it may not bring back the file structure but it sure will bring back a lot of data even aftr format. No harm in trying.

I also lost my data from the mass memory of the phone. I tried to recover my data with about 7 different programs, including getbackdata, ontrack easy recovery and recuva. It seems like these apps can't restore data from internal memory. Deleted files from my external memory (i.e. micro SD card) could be recovered but i did'nt loose any files from this. Is there anything else I can try? For example, can I remove my internal memory somehow?
Hope someone can help me!
