I switched my phone off yesterday morning about an hour later i switched on it back but the phone doesn't go past the startup screen(the loading thing) this has happened b4 but after a few tries it worked now its not working i think theres a sw problem

BTW bootloader works so i could flash it ?

Someone please help

Have you tried pulling out the memory card to see if that helps? Sometimes it might be external memory corruption and if you had something installed on it it might be halting boot sequence. If not that, have you tried with pulling out your battery for a minute or so, then reinserting it back and see if it boots correctly? Can you perform hard reset by lower hardware keys?

i dont have any memory cards

tried pulling out the battery a lot of times

i could try hard resetting but i have stuff i havent backed up yet

Hard reseting with hardware buttons shouldn't touch your E drive, and just resets C drive as per Samsung i8910 HD Omnia Codes. It's *#7370# that resets both C and E drives.

If you like wait for someone else to reconfirm it and then give it a try.

yes i can confirm hard reset works must have been some software corruption...

but i flashed aswell since i wanted the new fw and it would let me update

and it deleted my contcts and my messages it had about 200 contacts

I'm sorry to hear that, but you should have backed up at least your contacts, either on the phone or via PC studio. I hope you have some recent backup to pull them from there or old cell phone for at least some of them. btw, if you're flashing your FW preservation implemented by Samsung is so sloppy that you always have to back up your contacts list, agenda and user data so you could restore them :/

switching on the phone by all the silver buttons below the screen(hard reset)

beware this clears your settings messages contacts and some other stuff
