Default can't turn on display during the call

Hi All,

I have the next problem in my i8910.
During the call I can't turn on display to be able to use in-call functions.
Holding of Lock/Unlock button doesn't work.

I see this problem after the change of original firmware with I8910SERII2 from 3rd Sept. for Russia. After this I put XXIG4-OMX_Bulgaria firmware becouse the other one has problem with the battery.

So, I test this issue on 2 firmwares and I still have this problem. I never try how this work on original firmware.

This is a big problem for me becouse I can't use the keyboard to enter digits for example to chuse the diferent option in my voice mail.

I will appriciate any help!
Thanks in advance.

the in-call function should become available if you hold the lock key or when you move the phone away from your ear. If those two are failing you might want to try with a hard reset...or if you really need your phone's language to be Bulgarian, why don't you try HyperX' Bulgarian Language based rom? HX Releases
It is optimized for better performance, hacked by default...

Hope this helps

Thank you for your answer st1114g,

I try with soft and hard reset - this not help me!
I don't need bulgarian language - I install this firmware becouse I read that it is OK with battery life issue.
both - holding the lock key and moving the phone away from the ear - not work on my phone.
I will try to install and HX Releases, but I don't think that this will help me - I have already 2 different firmware on this phone and this issue is the same with both.

Actualy the problem is that the phone lock the screen automaticaly after the call and after this is unpossible to unlock it. I can't unlock the screen unless I press the hang up button!

This is with sure software bug, and I am not sure which firmware to install to fix this issue.

I leave in WA, USA so if you know some god firmware releise let me know.

Thank you.

Hi all,

I found that when I apply light on the front of proximity sensor the Lock/Unlock button work and I can turn on display during the call.
So, my question is: any body to know how to calibrate this sensor?

Any help is appriciated!
