Finger use profiles disappeared

I use the 'Finger Use' home screen. Perhaps I am imagining it, but I am sure that up until today there was a Profiles menu under the date and above the 4 large icons. In 'general' mode I would touch 'general' and a drop-down menu would appear, offering all the alternative profiles to select. Today, this has gone completely. Am I imagining that it ever existed? If not, where might it have gone?
Any help please???

Actually, thinking about it, the date has disappeared too. Is this something to do with entering a new year?

Nope, it really SHOULD be there, so you're not crazy

But it shouldn't be UNDER the date, but ON the date, because in the drop-down menu you can also open the calendar.
Have you changed anything lately? Mine is showing the date just fine, so it shouldn't be a Happy-New-Year-Bug Tried to restart your phone?

For now, you can access the profiles through the hang-up button. Still, very strange issue

Well, thanks for confirming that my sanity is intact at least!

Tried rebooting, removing battery, etc - no change.

Don't think I have changed anything recently, except installing SPB Weather trial (superb, by the way) - can't imagine that would affect the homescreen.

I'm using the finger use mode too. That's absolutely how it should be. BUT i experienced similar issues, such as the menu items were there but not tappable etc which resulted with a hard reset.

It seems to be happening out of the blue but mine happened while trying to update an application which apparently is quite irrelevant to home screen functionality. This might be a bug or whatever.

Try backing up your phone contents first then a soft or hard reset.

same problem here. i just had to do a soft reset to sort the missing date but now profiles are not clickable...i might have to do it again...but for now im using the hang up button...

I think i have a problem with finger use mode.

I'm pretty sure that i used to see calendar entries for the next 7 days listed under the 4 large shortcut icons. Since changing firmware to IL5 (and now HX2.0) i now only see today & tomorrows events listed. e.g. right now my phone says "Next entry on Thu 04/03" but the event (birthday) is not listed underneath - i have to go into the calendar to see what the event is. If the event is today or tomorrow it is listed.

This change is annoying me. Has anyone else noticed this or am i just imagining it? Or are there some settings i can change to show more events? I have not been able to find any.

and 4 buttons on the bottom of the screen are not responding

ive tried restarting, changing themes, changing profiles, but its not solving my problem... thx!!!!

Same here. Icons under the clock have gone, 4 buttons aren't working and only the middle key works.

What network are people on?

delete the bi.o0*** file, the stars will either be 001 or 002 or some other number, then reset your phone.

Let me know if that works.
