You need a SIM unlock code. These are unique to each handset (they're based on the IMEI number). If you look in the General Discussion board, I have posted a link to a companywho can obtain SIM unlock codes for the i8910

Whereis the post ?? can u paste the link here ??? i cant find it... bec i amthinking to unlock my p\phone as well... by the way, orange applications really scuk... can i removed all of them ??? like orange map and orange world... seem useless need to pay for it..is there any third party gps system work on our i8910 hd without paying any money .???? thks,,,

Did it take 2 days or sooner and its got i8910 is that the one without the hd,thanks m8

everyone is trying to get orange applications off there phone it will be done but it will take time.

It took just under 48 hours for my unlock code to come through.

The i8910 and i8910 HD and Omnia HD are ALL the same phone

Incidently, *#06# is the IMEI number, not the factory menu

having problems with the unlock code don't know if you can help but, it says

1 - Switch ON your phone with a NON Accepted SIM Card,
2 - Enter the pin code of this refused Simcard
3 - Device is now asking for another pin code
4 - Then enter code

Did you do it this way as it does not ask me for another code just the sim code. gutted as i can't use the phone as my mane number carrying 2 phones round till i get this unblocked.

(to get the p and w, repeatedly press the # key)

He meant the * key..when you are in call dial mode if you tap this button it changes the symbol to a + the a P and then a W.

The # key is incorrect that just makes more ### lol.
