Disable Contacts rotation when writing sms in landscape

It's no problem and you did well to post it as a separate mod but without mentioning who was the original author it seemed improper so I added it to your post.

Attached txt I'm using atm, also if you don't want the call screen to rotate go to Daily Mobile Forums or read quoted posts bellow:

Hm, interesting... I don't see line I added in "my" file.

It will rotate only Contacts app. which is shown when you press "to:", and not the original one.

I supose we can add other apps this way and force them to rotate but I didn't try. Maybe this rule is only applied to system apps.

Quite right Should be possible and if you are one of those people that do know how this stuff is done proper you could also make more changes to it.

Can someone make this possible when inputting a new contact also? Now I have to rotate every time when I fill in a new field because I use the landscape keyboard.

1. Hack phone with HelloOX2 2.03.

2. Open file manager activefile or x-plore and copy attached file to:

C:\private\10202BE9\200159ED.TXT

3. Turn off/on phone

Not to spoil or polute this thread nor I have anything against wireless effort and great discovery here, but mod I posted in this thread that rotates few screens including contacts (it's not mine! it's made by far smarter people then me) is doing exactly that - it rotates contacts and all screens deriving from there (add new contact for example).

I'm using DayhandInput, so it's impossible to write notes in landscape mode.
