Default Free up some memory (5MB) on C:

Recover 5 MB of internal phone memory (for hacked phones)

Deep down in the dungeons of the Symbian system folders sits a 5 MB placeholder file called reserved.bin. This space is only used if you do an "over the air" firmware update. If you update your phone from your computer, you don't need this file and you can delete it to gain five extra megabytes of phone memory.

You'll need a hacked phone and a Symbian file manager like Active File or X-plore.

1) Make sure your phone is hacked, "caps" are switched off.

2) Use a Symbian file manager like Active File or X-plore and navigate to C:\Private\102072c4.

3) Delete the file reserved.bin.

4) Make an empty text file called reserved.txt and drop it into C:\Private\102072c4.

Hmm..
I downloaded x-plore -> after installing it freezes on the license agreement part where you should press ok. So..
I downloaded active file -> I start it but then it only shows me inbox, my folder, drafts, sent and outbox icons. It should look something like this? http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/9644/86243912.jpg
What am I doing wrong? And btw should I be able to see that c:\private folder with my phone's own file manager. Cause I can't find it.

I have hyperx's HX1.5 fw so that's not the problem. Maybe I then try that Y-browser. Still like to know whats the prob with x-plore and active file.

What does that "caps" switched off mean?

edit: Y browser works and I found the file but how can I make new text file?
