I wonder if thats a trick from samsung to make you buy a new battery, or even buy a new phone.
Put a program that makes your battery life less and less.
lol
Wouldnt be surprised.

How's your battery life now with those settings? I'm getting sick of losing a bar after 45 minutes of use

Hi Lloyd,

These settings were the default, I posted these for anyone who messed up their settings.

I read a couple of days ago, can't remember the dude's name but he changed his:

2) 3,58V : 71

Value to

2) 3,58V : 60

I did the same and so far it's improved my battery life from 1 day to 2-3 days with usage.

1. *#0228#

2. Press 'Back'

3. select [4] Write vbatt call data

4. type in '60' and select 'Ok'

NOTE: The above only changes the: 2) 3,58V : nn

1) 3,45V : 56 ( this value generated automatically after you enter the value 71 and at this value 56 the phone give you the warning of the low battery then switched off )
2) 3,58V : 71 ( this value is what you input when you press [4] then press [1] then type 71 and press OK )
3) 3,70V :86
4) 3,75V : 92
5) 3,79V : 97
6) 3,83V : 102
7) 3,89V : 109
8) 3,96V : 118

best value which you must enter it to get a best train of battery and long time work is 52 so you get it by pressing *#0228# then press back then press [4] write vbatt cal data then press [1] then type 52 then press OK then reboot. If you enter a value less than 52 or 51 the phone will switch off without giving you the warning of the law battery. Hope that I explained that well.
I use this one 52 and my battery is perfect. I also change my cfw to Omnia HD Pro Edition V7 Speed and I will see how log it will be one carge.

Thanks so much for that, As soon as i changed it my batteryLife app went from 53% to 70%, and since then, i've had a major improvement to nearly a day and a half on normal use, Which isn't really amazing I guess, but for me that's a major improvement

I used 52 in my settings too, and had the best battery life ever. Better than since I got the phone in 2009

I reckon this thread should be Stickyed Mods!!!

so, can the 'changing the value to 52' part be done at any time? or does it fall in line with ajjters original post, where you have to have a fully charged battery etc...

Well when I changed mine to 60, I had 5 bars, and that seems to have worked fine for me, Don't ask me though, Just personal experience.

I did mine at around 6 bars and was getting a days use with the battery. after changing the setting it became 100% (7bars) and was like that for a further 24 hours. I was worried at first it was stuck on 7bars but after time it went down and with using the Sgyic mobile for 30 min helped.
I cant say how long yet I get out of the battery as I've had to use it and connected it to the usb.
I am using CODEC Dark Edition v3 with basic home screen and SPB mobile shell
