Thumbs up PreSettings for rom cooker :)

Hi!

I want to share my finding. What is this? As you know, some application setted by txt's. I find an easier way to PreSet the phone after flash procedure. Don't need to read some forum and search on the internet for the descriptions of the txt files.

Is this the *.cre files in C:/private/10202be9/persists.

I make some for example:

www.i8910hd.hu/feltoltesek/PreSettings.zip

Camera:

default 6mp pictures, image stabilization ON, images name by date.

Calling:

disabled Reject with SMS

Video Sharing

Default video sharing OFF
Packetdata: default When needed.

Homescreen:

default Full Page

What good is it? For an example, with txt modding, you able to make only which Homescreen are the default. But these settings you able to save which homescreen are the default and the settings from Homescreen, like shortcuts.

You only need, make a simple sis file from these settings, and copy to system/install. And after the flash procedure, your phone will boot up your pre-definied settings. Made this, because I hate to set up my phone after flashing.

And this is AN EXAMPLE! Some files in the persists folder. You only need to know, which files you need. For this, make a modification and look into the folder. Search what files are modified by date.

PS.: share your findings with .cre files.
PS2.: sry 4 bad english, but I hope you understands the substance...

The system will be modify automatically when you change anything in. Dont need to edit by yourself. Just make a copy of the cre files after you changed anything.

Yes, and your private sms and other private things are in this cre files. So, be carefull. Please look in before you post any private data.

I think, you make a backup your cre files, it means, you restore your settings instantly. But try this, and share your results.

So I guess a particular cre file is also responsible for screen locking feature too? If so and anyone find what cre file holds this info, post it here please. Thanks.
