Okay guys, I have a surprise for you.

ANIMATED WALLPAPER ON THE HOMESCREEN

You need:

-Rompatcher
-Open4all patch
-C2Z patch
-i8910HD

We have the gadget.swf file on the Z drive. This is the Samsung widget Homescreen. swf file is a flash animation. If you have a gif file, just convert to swf format. Place on the C root directory and rename to gadget.swf. Now, go to Homescreen settings and change to Finger Use or Basic. After this, go to rompatcher and activate C2Z patch. Go to Homescreen settings and change to Samsung Widget. Exit the settings and enjoy :P

This works with gif files, flash games(!), screensaver...

This is the link which contain the demo swf file and a converter. The converter is shareware. The demo file has a watermark on the top left corner. If you like this program, you should buy it, or use a licensed prog, like Adobe Flash CS4 etc...

thanks! i was just gonna suggest stickying this and making this a swf gallery. yeah i'm crazy about this phone haha. this actually makes using the widget screen worth it. if only it was possible for other views!

that would be AMAZING! but i'm honestly find it hard to just find a gif resource online haha. trying to find the matrix numbers pattern

Because, the widget bar was changed by the custom swf. you only use the toolbar on the bottom.
