Symbian is an Open Source Software
Dear Fellow members,
knowing that the operating system of the Samsung i8910 HD is Symbian S60 5th edition, I wanted to share with you a piece of information that came to my attention today. The Team of Symbian has opened source Symbian today! Click here to read about in the Symbian Blog. Hope this issue might help further development for the i8910 and wonder what the people might say about the possibility of multi-touch on this platform after this step.

Seriously though...what does this mean? Is the source available to all of us or do you have to pay for it...and can it be modified and adapted to the i8910? I am thinking no...but....
