Don't know if it had been posted before, but I know the demand for this is pretty big.

This is a paid app, so what i'm posting is a trial or Fevves is kicking my ass again
So if you it you have to buy it...or you know.

It also simulates police sirenes and sends out morse code :/

Just a word of caution. The camera LED was rated for quick flashes, not continuous operation. If you run it for a long time it might just get too hot and fail.

fun flash has more fuctions, for this reason is non free, but fun tourch should have only basic function of torch by flash and it is free...please try, i can't because my phone is bricked

Tried it, just lights up the screen in a collor you pick, i've seen another app like this before.

That is not true. Camera LED can be used when recording video, so there is no danger in using this LED as a torch.

I would agree.
I have LEDs in my car for many things and they stay lit for 2-3 hours, even more, so i don't know why would LED fail because of usage.

I've heard the stories about the LED in our phone burning up before... But can't confirm anything :/

Hm, if it burns then this will be the last Samsung phone in my life...those LED should have life up to 100 000 working hours...

Yeah, LED lights should not fail that easily, even those that are used for camera "flash".

LED light can fail as any other part in the phone but I wouldn't say it would fail because you were using it for 5 minutes or something. If it was the case, Samsung would not let you use it constantly in video recording mode.

I just used the LED for about 1,5 hours continuously. The phone became a bit warm but not more than after for example playing a game this long. The battery lost 2 bars but nothing started burning
