The battery life is VERY worrying. If it is 3D taskmanager making the battery last for half a day it is definitely not worth it... ANd still no reports on video. Is it smooth or does it lose frames?

There is a new video on youtube

it is not very promissing .. a lot of frame drops (I hope its because You tube encodin)

Honk Kong firmware was the first one which had smooth hd recording. No way I am giving this up if the Russian one is not fixed in this respect!

@ dol, I have flashed to IH2 and all is well, including task manager.
Just a note on the battery life.
Having flashed and carried out a hard reset, all the power saving options i carried out before, i.e disable Wireless LAN scanning. Have all reverted back to default.
So, i have now turned all power sapping programs off... i.e video sharing etc....
Battery is on full bars and i flashed over 6 hours ago.
All is well again
