That is strange... try to set it to 2 and 4 and reinstall PC Suite in your computer or in another computer. If it doesn't work with that try to change to other usb cable that you know that works. If not don't know what the problem might be... or maybe an hw problem.

Regards
Eduardo

1. Take your phone's sim card out and plug the battery back in.
2. Start the phone up.
3.Press the telephone icon.
4. Type in *#7284#
5.If Modem USB has this next to it[*] Press number 2 So the[*] symbol is next to PDA USB.
6.Press * to exit then press exit again to come out of the phones settings.
7.Power the phone down, put your sim card back in and reboot the phone.
8.Re-connect the cable.

Try that.

Does the usb symbol appear when you plug it in..?

Thanks, that worked a treat. Clear instructions that even a non techi like me can understand and it worked. Great. Now I just need to get rid of Orange Sim Lock and I can go to i8910HD heaven, well nearly.

Hi.

Glad it helped . As for the sim lock, i personally do not know of any free way of doing. I think there are various sites that you can purchase a code from, but that is about it.

I havn't got bluetooth so i went on the web browser and downloaded the usb tool straight to the phone, i'm amazed it worked tbh.
