Default From the creator of LITv2, let me introduce the new N2O NAKED ROM!! FAST AS HELL!!!

Hi guys I received many request for making a rom which had to be not overcooked, with all the standard functions, but simply faster and with all the important hacks available in…

this is what I have created I left all the programs you need (roadsync, dlna) and put some hacks in

CHANGELOG:

Same as LITv2 that you liked so much!!! (POLLS VOTE: out of 55, 52 LIKED IT, ONLY 3 DIDN’T!!!! REALLY GOOD RESULT!!! THANKS!! )
MAIN FEATURES AND DIFFERENCES FROM LITv2:

- VIVAZ CODEC 24FPS BUT WITH SYNC ALSO WITH PAUSE @ 720p!!! (thanks to adhamo) AND NEARLY PERFECT SYNC AFTER PAUSE @480p!!! FANTASTIC!!!

- 66.9 Mb in C: DRIVE ; MORE THAN 175Mb OF RAM FREE AT STARTUP BUT I DIDN’T DISABLE ANYTHING FROM STARTUP EXCEPT NAV3D!!!

- NO PROCESSES DISABLED AT STARTUP!!! —-> THIS MEANS NO RANDOM BUGS —> MAX STABILITY!!!

- FASTER THEME

- NO TASK3D, NO NAV3D, AND YOU CAN’T REACTIVATE NAV3D (if you want it, use LITv2 )

- FASTER KASTOR EFFECTS (thanks to joker2009)

- FULL HACK BY DEFAULT AS IN LITv2

- ONLY AUTOINSTALLER BUILTIN (without all the other applications)

- ROADSYNC IS INSTALLED

- DLNA IS INSTALLED

- BUTTON 0 PRESSED OPENS OPERA MOBILE 10!!! (if you have it installed)

- INTERNET BROWSER ASKS FOR WHICH CONNECTION TO USE BY DEFAULT (no more wap fees on first connection if you forget to change the settings )

- LANGUAGE: ITALIAN, ENGLISH

- QWERTY AND T9: ENGLISH, FRANCAIS, ITALIANO, DEUTSCH, ESPANOL

I HOPE YOU WILL LOVE IT GUYS AS YOU DID WITH LITv2,

I’ll post a video tomorrow morning if I have enough time

Regards,

faenil

At first I liked the sound of it all, then I saw things that I don't like:
Effects are one of those. Why implementing something so awkward and crude like those you picked... those might be fast but makes you dizzy and then your eyes can't even follow the movements on the screen... on long run none will like them. You could have picked something more elegant yet simple (or even complex if that's what you're after) that wouldn't blow up your eyes after few hours of phone usage... then it's just my opinion here.

Also, prehacked phones are good only for lazy people and if someone wants to have RP+ patches it takes 5 minutes to install and put them in the right place...

Custom themes embedded in ROM - I never liked that as we all have choices and preferences, but default ones shouldn't be touched IMHO.

Then again, you probably want to attract more people then just hardcore users so it's all comprehensible. You made something new and fresh and I'm sure people will appreciate your work even more in the future seeing you're dedicating great deal of time to help the community by providing custom FW flavors.

Please don't take this post as an offense, but criticism which might be worth of your consideration.

You keep your work sharp and I'm sure there will be something for everyone sooner then later

I knew the kastor effects was an hazard...I wasn't bound to put those type of kastors...
but the betatesters said they were extremely good and fast...
so I decided to go for them... I agree with you

About modified theme: it only has a slightly different background...come on it's not so different from the original one

I'm happy you caught the point...I want to make something NEW and FRESH...
coz all the roms are now almost the same thing everytime...

People need something new

Thanks for your opinion though

Been using the LITv2 firmware for the last few day's & have been very impressed. Very stable & no problem's. So I had to try the speed edition, & once again very impressed so far. Effects may be a little ott but it's nice to have have them 'built in' & not have to use the dreaded c2z patch. More stuff could have been left out but I think the space on C is more than adequate. Looks like we have another talented cook in the house.

What would you say Steve, LITv2 or n2o? I mean, how much of a speed difference is there in n2o?

First impression: kastor effects a little dizzy, but very good firmware indeed!
The only problems I found are:
1) The dictionary do not have the data files and when restored it shows only Chineese/English translation! this is very odd since I tried to restore the same data files with the original Italian and English firmware and the dictionary works fine as usual. The same data files in the v2 and n20 firmware versions give the result in both firmwares that the dictionary works with Chinese translation only!
2) The missing of the "smart search" program (very useful for me!) that was missing in the v2 firmware version as well.
In any case I repeat myself saying that I love this firmware.
Thanks Faenil

first of all I wanna tell you that your work is very very great... thank you so much for this new release and your contributions for our phone. I just downloaded and flashed my phone from LIT V2 to n2o and my phone works like a charm! It seems that my prevision will come true-YOU WILL BE ONE OF THE BEST COOKERS!
