Omg hyperx has just announced he is releasing firmware with steady 24fps and better sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes hyperX confirmed 24fps fixed but not better sound! he stated that the sound is 8khz ,down from 16khz. however he's going to find a solution for the best of both worlds soon.

if only I could get that damn symbian flashing tool to work >.< Been meaning to switch over for ages, but the damn app wont recognize my phone.. I'll have to try it on an XP machine..

question:
isn't the low fps in video recording a hardware limitation?
maybe hyperx lowered the quality of the video to obtain 24fps
someone must compare videos taken in same conditions but with different firmwares

Better video but worse audio. HX has lowered audio bit rate to 48 Kbps. The audio wasn't exactly good to begin with!

in my opinion he is going in the wrong direction.. i can deal with a dropped frame every now and then but not with ****ty audio.. ie cannot use the phone at concerts at all. Even at lower resolutions audio is crap.

i was so damn sure about this when i read about "24fps video"
in my opinion we can survive with lower fps to get better audio

afterall who cares so much about framerate if it sounds like crap ?

is there any way to get 30 fps on 720p recording?

I am also working on an better audio-samplingrate.... don´t be afraid, the locked 24FPS will be there even with the old audio-setting !
Just give me some days.....
