In the new HX firmware the phone memory c: and the Mass Memory e: are auto formatted while installing the operating system so ALL valuable user data should be backed up from those drives before you flash

I have done all the stept described in the article. Except I'm doing this on a Windows 7 machine.
When I start the HX-V3-29-JC1_RU.exe I see the following.
The modem section is greyed out. What do I do wrong?

As far as I know, Hyperx has a standalone modem update, so you shouldnt worry about it... it can be flashed on its own later

But yeh, I don't know in regards to flashing on windows 7... I do it through winxp mode in win7 ultimate, personally.
