Hmm, it should atleast print some text to the screen. I'll also look into it on my side.

The new java 2.0 runtime does not work with opera mini, for us and for nokia users so updating the java machine on the I8910 is sort of pointless if you aim on using it for opera.

But yes in theory when you extract the files and include the correct ones you will be able to update the java runtime.

So, by adjusting partition size, does that mean we get more C drive free space ?

First of all thanks for sharing. So does it is newer than current tools? And... did you think it can decript encrypted packages (I am thinking about the encrypted img from interim releases).

Yes this means you will get more space on the C drive when you add or remove files from the ROFS images.

Yes, it uses a newer version of the symbian buildrofs tool. It also includes n official symbian image reader to extract the ROFS images, this utility should also be able to read symbian complained the rom images but the samsung's rom.img files are not symbian complained, hench the images have not been created with the buildrom tool from the symbian SDK.

In the next version I hope to support extracting the rom image...

On trying to repack, I get an error window popping up saying "Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process Id=0x974 (2420), Thread Id=0x17d4 (6100).

VmRofsRomUtility then says

"Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range.
Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentOutOfRangeExceptio n(ExceptionArgument argument, ExceptionResource resource) at system.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentOutOfRangeExceptio n() at RofsRomUtility.x867eb3246b182488.xbf6e576827e8db94 (String xf3e295548924601

Any help with that please ?

With what arguments did you pass to the utility? Try to keep the working directory name short, best would be to use 'WC' as name for that directory.

The argument passed was this : vmrofsromutility /repack .\wc .\ii1 .\cook\

as you can see, it's almost the same as your example
