rom.img will not repack even you can extract it.
I think rom.img format difference between samsung and nokia . So you just copy it to cooked rom directory and then repack.

use I8910XXII1 and for all firmware!

Hey Codeneos now that symbian is completely open source will this mean that we can repack the rom image and add additional features to our device???

hey ppl..i just need help in repacking my fw..
i was cooking the latest J1 fw.
i dont noe how to repack..alot of tutorials.dont noe which 1 to
follow.help wil be much appreciated.

which tutorial m i suppose to follow?
anything i have to take in considerration b4 i repack.?

i cant use the rom cooker 0.7.5 in my vista.it keeps exitin from the cmd
aft clicking it.tried the vmromcooker also.mmm

any help??

Looks like you don't have the matching .Net framework installed.
