Hi Guys
I've been thinking of start working on Symbian^3 ROM's. Before you go on shouting "YEAAAHH", calm down still getting my development environment right.Did anyone got lucky installing the RVCT 4.0 compiler correctly? I've got all the rest running pretty good but when I try to compile a ROM I keep getting these kind of errors: "ARM C/C++ Compiler, RVCT4.0 [Build 728] Error: C9932E: Cannot obtain license for Compiler (feature compiler) with license version >= 4.0 No such feature exists." I read @ symbian.org that version 4 isn't compatible with S60V3/V5 and the only one compatible is 2.2. Any help would be appreciated. Wizard

Hi Faenil
Well actually couldn't find the 2.2 version. as for the license key as it goes for 4.0 you simply register yourself and as a part of the download procedure you have to generate yourself a key based on the HardDisk ID or as suggested at symbian.org based on your MAC address. I used My MAC address and it didn't work. P.S I have two Ethernet NIC's on my server. could it be it? Wizard

I have Ethernet and Wireless USB and I used the ethernet one and it worked...
by the way, remember that rvct 2.2 is not available for download, you have to download the licence of 4.0 and then ask arm to send you an installation cd for rvct 2.2

Hi Rashid
Actually Symbian^3 has multi-touch support already. If I/We will manage to compile Symbian^3 ROM then there is no reason why we wouldn't have multi-touch. Wizard
