Finally, I got some time to update my custom fw. JC1 Hong Kong is used as base, because it has different "camera part", and I think this one has better focus than JB1,JD1, JC1 Singapore. It seems that JD1 has only PowerDic rewritten app and updated Apps Store.ws.

Core firmware settings intact...


Removed:

- GypSii services
- SamsungLBS folder (GPS+ still there)
- Games
- PreConfiguration (left preconf. only for Europe)
- Samsung ringtones and images, except defaults
- duplicate files
- Precision theme (install package - precision theme mod, already signed)
- 3d taskmanager (install package - already signed)
- Samsung Apps Store

Space: C:\ 70MB

Added:

- ARICENT 720p ENCODER FROM SE VIVAZ (fixed 720p@24fps 16kHz)

- FULL ROOT CA SELF-SIGNED 20 CAPS ( ALL CAPABILITIES ) CERT - Sign and install any application without hacking phone!

- Added T9 support for Croatian

- PowerDictionary (JD1 ver.)

- SmartSearch

- Conversations app

- WiFi Samsung widget


- Changed default folders for Music player and MediaBrowser: c:\data\music , !:\music , c:\data\images , c:\data\videos , !:\images , !:\videos
- Excluded folders from Gallery (e:\Garmin, e:\Backgrounds, navigation softwares, etc.)
- Hold down "0" for Opera Mobile
- Faster kinetic scroll values
- Disable Contacts rotation when writing sms in landscape
- Photocontacts, 3d taskmanager icons
- Universal theme mod
- JB1 startup/shutdown animations

- RomPatcherPlus_2.3 (with default patches + c2z) included in archive as single signed sis package so you can install/remove it in sec...

Nice work. How much free RAM on start up ? What is the picture and D1 recording quality, is it improved?

I didn't look and now have other services installed About D1, it's hard to say objectively, but it is fluent

Hi Wireless hope that you are doing well. May I ask you to see if you can let the FM transmitter work or not and is it possible to make auto-focus in video recording or not ? Also may you let the radio work without the handset ? And let i8910 HD work with NOKIA suite as N97. At last have a nice day.

wireless, what is modem update for? Have just flashed hx29 cz localized rom with JC1 modem update. Have had asked that many times, but till today no answer on that.
I am using slovenian localization...thank you ( puno hvala)

Hi mohcivil. FM transmitter and auto-focus can't be enabled with reversible engineering. I'll try to find solution for nokia pc suite recognition

These custom firmwares (rom+rofs) are for PDA part of phone. Classic "mobile part" is distributed as modem flash file. They are used to upgrade phone behaviour in network environment (better signal, allocation of Tx,Rx channels, etc.). From my own experience, jc1 is most stable until today, I don't have anymore "broken audio" while talking, and connection is more stable...
