It should work from the moment you select "TV Out"... if it doesn't then the cable simply isn't the one you need.

wow. my phone came with this cable. Definitely nice when I was on vacation to be able to just plug in and watch movies.

I used the cable from my old N95. Works like a charm.
Can be purchased many places online (i.e. ebay) for a fews dollars.

I have a 42" LCD HD TV and the picture looks bad only SD quality. cant remember if any delay, because dont use on HDTV anymore.
Thats using the cable that came with the phone. which looks the same as the one in the first post

That's because it's an SD (Standard Definition) composite signal. The i8910 / Omnia HD has no HD output.

i got a tv out cable when i bought the phone.

I hooked my phone up to my Samsung LCD Hd TV and all i get is a scratchy black and white picture, am i doing something wrong or do i have the wrong cord or what?

I remember there is another cable, which is connected via USB for the TV.
Whats the different to this AV-Cabel?

So it's possible to play HD content on the TV with the i8910^^
