Post Music frequency response via Bluetooth Headset

Hi everyone

Been using my Samsung i8910 for over 6 months now and overall it's a very good phone. One thing that does bug me about it though and I can see from looking through the forums bugs a lot of other more audiophilic users is the phone's poor frequency response which gives a lacklustre listening experience.

I am looking for some answers:

1) Is the poor audio quality caused by the hardware of the phone and the headphone jack/socket?
2) Can this be resolved by using other methods of getting the music from the phone to headphones or speakers, e.g. a BLUETOOTH HEADSET and is the audio quality using a bluetooth headset or adaptor as good as it should be?
3) If this is the case which bluetooth adaptor should I look at investing in?

Many thanks

the audio quality is not so bad compared to other nokia phones. may be you are using non-genuine headset.
always the audio quality is better over wired headset than wireless, so you will have a little quality loss with Bluetooth headset(e.g. nokia bh-214).
my advise is to try different music players and choose this one which fits best to your taste.

Hey, yah, thanks for the advice. This is definately a genuine i8910. I've tried the "Power MP3" music player but sadly it only plays music off the memory card and sometimes has jerky, gappy playback (not just between songs) though it offers good EQ options and is slightly improved quality from the original symbian player. This is why I am not so sure whether it was a software or hardware issue. The audio quality is not unbearable but if it is a hardware thing I may just consider upgrading handset.
