I think Samsung is finished with Symbian, but we will see.
I'm looking forward to the rumoured 12 mpx Nokia, i hope it will be a proper flagship unlike the N97. |

Apparently Samsung is going to steal the show this time 'round. Even if they announced a phone that could make me fly, I wouldn't buy it.
Samsung had their chance to impress and build a good reputation. They've done the complete opposite. I now try my best to avoid Samsung products, simply to save myself from trouble. |

If they do, I'm going to go to every single mobile phone website I can find and give it a bad review for lack of updates, and probably be correct. Without buying it of course. It's nice to see that everyone here is in agreement of NEVER buying Samsung again.

Well Im not saying i would never buy a samsung again. But I said that about Nokia when I brought their POS N96...thousand fw updates couldn't fix that. N97 is no better. I really don't think you'll be happy with any phone. They all have flaws and such.
When I compare the i8910 to the N96 for example in terms of problems the i8910 is 100 times better. Infact the i8910 is the best phone I have owned and I've owned a few. Even an the over hyped apple fanboy Iphone (I'll still be waiting to make a video call) If Samsung do annouce a Omnia HD II, I would get it I think. Unless it wasn't a big step up from my i8910. And yes I know its not all about hardware. Support is important. And its not like the i8910 received no firmware updates. Samsungs issue is they release too many phones. A phones lifespan is what, 1 year? That's half the reason why they don't want to work on the i8910 anymore. As they are already working on its successor. |

Briggs you are absolutely right, they are in business to make money they dont want you to own the same phone for 3 years .They want customers to flip them every year.Still i think samsung is far superior onhardware compare to the others.

Just relaxe and wait. There is a pk on the 14th at 7pm in Barcelona: Samsung Unpacked | Feb, 14 ...the new bada device maybe. Samsung booked a big advertising campaign in germany at the biggest newssites (and of course in other countries too) for this upcoming device.
Furthermore eldar from mobile-review wrote at his journal this: Quote:
eldarmurtazin.livejournal.com Maybe...at the MWC they will point the complete attention to bada. After this and if this statement from eldar is true, maybe we will see a successor. Imho i don't believe with Symbian. Rather with Android 2.1 or WinMob7 for october.
