My own thoughts on the whole 'iPhone Vs. i8910 for video playback' debate are as follows:
Watching a decent AVI file at full resolution and in normal indoor lighting conditions is astonishing. Honestly, the colour and detail is absolutely second to none. However, introduce a bit of direct sunlight and I'd rather watch something on the iPhone screen.
After watching movies on the i8910 it's really hard to go back to any other phone, and I haven't even mentioned the decent stereo separation.
